This is a serviceable globe. It has the countries of the world on it. My greatest disappointment is that it seems as if it would break easily if very many people used it too often. Fortunately, at my age I will treat it with more respect. :-)In fact, I am certain I will get lots of enjoyment from it...much better than a flat map!

I bought this globe as a gift for my grandson's 8th birthday. he is a very smart boy & likes to learn. He was thrilled. I told him that when I was young my siblings and I would spin a globe and take turns pointing a finger on the globe. Where ever our finger pointed, we would look up information about that place, He was excited to play this "game" with his sibs.

I purchased this globe as a Father's Day gift for my father inlaw. He uses it to show the grandchildren ages 5 and 8 places in the world. For his own enjoyment he looks up countries on the globe that are mentioned in our daily news. I was pleased with the globe's quality. It is sturdy enough to withstand the children's constant spinning. The globe is very detailed the only downside for an older person is the tiny lettering.
