It's a good globe, although the mountain relief is not stellar. We use the globe to learn Eastern Hemisphere countries and/or geography.
It swivels easily, and the gradient lines appear to be in good order. For the price, it is an average product.
Would I recommend it to a friend? It depends on his/her proposed use.
