Very nice globe overall, but the pieces that articulate the globe and the stand are cheap, unattractive plastic - if the plastic pieces are not used, the globe does not fit snugly in the stand.

I love my globe. It spins around smoothly and I can view the Southern Hemisphere with no problems. I don't like the wavy little lines around coastal land masses. Why did you do this?

I bought another major globe company's model first and returned it for this one.
Although the other globe was fine and practical, the Replogle one is clearly better made and more attractive. The seams and continents line up, stand is solid weld iron and there is more information, including city sizes, travel distances, and artwork. I also wanted a blue ocean globe which are harder to find.
My only complaint is the shorelines are drawn with dark wavy parallel lines (you'll see, why did they do this?), which makes information around them kinda hard to read. But it's a small complaint. Beautiful globe!!!
